Sketchy Thursday 2.17 Sketch Challenge

Had fun using pics from Kassie's 1st "Training-wheel" Day. She could not wait to ride her Barbie VIP bike. I was able to finally use one of the Dear Lizzy American Craft bike Thickers along with 3 Bugs "Chloe" pattern papers (Borders, Bicyle & Mini Floral) & a pink dollie. Here's my take on Sketch 2.17 over at Sketchy Thursday's

Where has the time gone..

Has it really be a week since I last blogged??? Well, last week I was not feeling well. But the start of this week; I feel good...not great (but I'm sure that is coming). I had a wonderful President's day crafting with the Kat & E followed by a great dinner with the Kat, E, Joy & Cami Kan. We had good drinks (very strong strewdriver) good food (the bread was divine...& fries...did I say fries) and good conversation!!!  Here are some pics of this occasion....

Thankful Monday!

I am truly thankful that this Monday (Valentine's Day) is being spent with my family at HOME. Instead of the hospital like last Monday. I'm still undergoing lots of test in hopes of making sure another episode does not occur. Spending time each day with your loved ones is what counts; not just on Valentine's Day.  Receiving a call/email or text msgs from friends; just to let me know they are thinking about me means a great deal. This weekend hubbie picked up a couple of items for me but that is something that we do just because regardless of a pending holiday. So, I hope each of you will take the time to tell or show someone how much you care about them. I'll leave you with picks of my weekend gifts....

Beautiful Surprise......

Today the UPS delivery truck pulled up in front of my home. Since I have not purchased anything on-line this week; I figured they were at the wrong address. Imagine my surprise to see my name on the box from the florist. My South Carolina co-workers sent flowers for a speedy recovery. They are very beautiful! Thanks all....

Stash.....NOT!

This week I have been forced to use my "STASH". Since my ER visit on Monday; I am not suppose to drive long distances. My caregiver (husband) has been great. He's waited on me all week. He's taken me to all my specialist appointment this week; but I know one place he will not go is my (local scrapbook store)LSS. I received emails from them stating they have received lots of goodies from MME, Imaginince, WeRMemory Keepers & Pink Paiselee. I mentioned to one of my friends (you know who you are) if she was going to be in the area near me this weekend; so I could ride with her to the scrapbook store...but the first thimg she said was "Use Your STASH". I told her I did not have any stash (which is a lie)....I have done 12 layouts this week. Just have not had time to take pictures of them during the day.....Will post them by this weekend.

Here are a few pics of me from last Saturday before my (date night) with my hubbie.

Superbowl Sunday = Crafting all evening

Since the "burgundy & gold" REDSKINS did not make the superbowl & my favorite player #18 Manning did not make the superbowl; I don't really care who wins. (Okay, I really just want to win one of the $250  blocks; so the score each quarter matters.) While I'm watching the score, I'll try to use up some of my stash to make room for all the NEW goodies that I plan to buy. Just waiting for UPS to delivery CHA goodies to my LSS.

Everyone knows that I have been whining lately that I may have to bite the bullet & buy my 3rd Clip it Up! I have soo many embellishements that I need to hang. On Friday, I happen to look on the 2 Peas message board & saw a "homemade" clip it up. So, I purchased a Shoe Spinner from Target & turned the shelves upsided down. Here's how mine turned out. I think it was well worth the $20 I spent. I probably need about 3 more :)

Scrapbook friends are the BEST!!!

Saturday a few ladies were able to come over & scrapbook. Even though I had not seen a couple of them in a while; we were able to pick right back up! We had good food, good wine, good conversation & lots of crafting..... Here are few pics that I can show...(my basement has a pole in it....enough said) because what happens in the basement...stays in the basement :) Can't wait for us to get together again soon.
