Another Tuesday Toot!!!

Picture of the day ...is our first "real snowfall" of 2013. 

These pictures are from Thursday January 24th. Unfortunately, these were the pictures taken when I was leaving to take the kids to school. By they time they came home...it had melted :(

But while I'm typing...it's snowing again....expected 1-2 inches & the temp is 18 degrees & dropping!!! Can't wait to make watch the kids play in the snow so that I can take pics (hee hee).

Who would have "thunk it"??? Shots???

........I never would have never thunk  thought that Dunkin' Donuts has SHOTS!!! Dunkin' Donuts is my daily stop in the morning & some afternoons. I order the same coffee every single day since as long as I've been drinking coffee...maybe 25 years /??? Large regular medium roast coffee with six cream & six sugars  (down to 5 & 5 since December). Yup light & sweet!~ But this morning when I walked in the male "Barista" (do you call guys that??) said I looked really tired...He asked if I wanted a shot added to my coffee. For those that know me, for a brief moment I had thoughts of Ciroc/Patron/Grey Goose (hee hee)... I said SURE!!! 
So, I drank half of the cup & instantly I felt alive.

Now, that shot is actually called a "Turbo Shot" & it gives coffee a extra jolt! Now, I'm not going to add this to my daily coffee consumption...so, I'll leave it up the "Barista" !

BTW...I'll definitely have to ask why they are still using the Holiday cups LOL!

RCS#20 Challenge "Sparkle"

While I had time this past weekend to read several blogs...I found a challenge blog called Red Carpet Studio, so I thought I'd try their Red Carpet Studio Challenge #20 which is based on the movie "Sparkle". The challenge is to "bling out" a layout.

Pictured is my "Snow Day" layout. I pulled out my stash collection of Bo Bunny Snowfall pattern paper & rhinestones. Used Chatterbox (remember them) ribbon, My Minds Eye All is Bright buttons from Rhonna Farrer & Little Yellow Bicycle Fabric Glitter stickers.

This photo is of KK boy & KK girl after a snow storm in 2011.

I even pulled out my Fiskar punch & created lots snowflakes in various colors.

Football Free Sunday = Scrapbooking

Everyone knows that I am a DIEHARD REDSKINS FAN!!!! 

& since our season ended in the 1st round of the playoffs, I have no need to watch any of the other NFL teams. So today I'm crafting & (praying for RG III's recovery).

So, since I'm getting back into the Design Team submission mode...(I can't show you everything I've created so far today). Here is one featuring pictures I created in a Iphone PicStich App. 

This is a collage of photos when my daughter was 8.

 I decided not to use the pattern paper from the Echo Park For the Record 2. I used the 1st sheet of the package that displays all the papers that are inside the paper package.

Boys Rule....(or so they think)...LOL

Today I came upon a new Scrapbook Blog that is called About a Boy challenge blog. So for those of you who love to scrapbook your fathers, husbands, boyfriends, sons...etc...This the place for you. Right now they are giving away some yummy Blog CANDY!!! I soo hope I you WIN!

Whew...now that the Christmas Holiday is over..I can get back to "CREATE -ing" layouts again. The month of December was spent making gifts for teachers/friends & family. Below are few of the gifts I created using just paper from my scrap bin.

Hoping all of you had a wonderful Christmas & are just AS excited as I am for this  NEW year ahead.
Each year I choose a word that I live by throughout the entire year. This year my word is CREATE.

Definition:
-make something: to bring something into existence
-give rise to something: to result in something or make something happen
-produce inventions or art: to use imagination to invent things or produce works of art
