Bo Bunny...Bo Bunny...Challenge

My FAVORITE Manufacturer is having a Sketch challenge...in case you missed the title it is
 BO BUNNY!  I enjoyed creating my take on the sketch.
Special thanks to my BFF for gifting me the Snow Fall collection.

Here is my sketch interpretation:

Lasting Memories Challenge #69 & DT Call!

As we come even closer to Christmas, it's time for a mini vacation for Lasting Memories.We'll be on vacation till January 8th, when we'll be kicking off the New Year with a new DT!! Would you like a chance to be on the DT? All you have to do is join this challenge and be sure to add DT with your name when you link up (ex: Karen DT). Challenge #69 will run for 2 weeks. New members will be notified first week of January! We will still be posting Featured layouts in the meantime to keep that mojo flowing over the holidays!! I have truly enjoyed being on Karen's Design Team...I hate to see it come to an end. I have met some really crafty ladies who are going to make me dabble in "digi" in 2012. Today, I have looked over all the layouts that I have created for this DT & am truly glad to be able to create layouts for all of these treasured memories!

Lasting Memories Challenge #68...Winter & Snowflakes

Welcome to Challenge #68 at Lasting Memories Layout Challenge Blog.

Here is my layout entitled "Let it Snow"!

Pictured is my daughter Kassie making snow angels.
This was our 1st snow of 2011. I'm so looking forward to the next snow fall!

I pulled out some We R Memory Keepers Merry & Bright pattern papers and cut out some of the snowflakes from the paper. I also used Jolee Winter embellishments, Recollection flowers & my handy Recollection punch for the boarder. 
This made a great 8 1/2X11 layout to add to my daughter's album.

TAGGED! 10 FuN FactS about ME!

Today Classy GIRL is celebrating her birthday!! So, stop by & celebrate with her! Tell Scorpian Crafter sent ya!

Her challenge is to tell 10 FUN Facts about ME! Here it goes...

  1. I am ADDICTED a coffee drinker. Anytime of the day or night. I love Dunkin Donuts coffee or Maxwell House Masterblend. KONA medium roast is my ALL time favorite...straight from HAWAII! If none of these are available I'll drink Starbucks..but that is my least favorite. I am a straight 6 cream 6 sugar girl. None of that "fru fru" Mocha/Latte stuff!
  2. I enjoy being a Wife & Mother! It's a job that I LOVE doing day after day...it NEVER gets old!
  3. I play with paper Scrapbook everyday....it helps me sleep better knowing I've created something!
  4. I'm allergic to NUTS...but have been craving a Snickers Bar for weeks...I just want a little taste.. then use my Epi Pen....I'm crazy!
  5. I've been thinking about exercising...but figure why since I'm losing weight each week without exercising...means more crafting time for me!
  6. My schedule has been crazy the last 6 months & did not get to hang with friends & family as much as I would have liked too..definately on my 2012 list!
  7. I have not been to Greatscraps Super Store my local scrapbook store since September...I'm sure their sales have been way down because of that...hee hee
  8. This is the first year that I am way behind on Christmas gifts for friends and family..but by next weekend...I'll be all done!
  9. I am a football JUNKIE FANATIC! I Love the game sooo much!...not enough to play on the Girls Flag Football team..but I love watching my son play tackle football & my husband playing flag football. The Flag Football players have been a part of our family for 12 years...& I don't see my husband retiring anytime soon.
  10. I LOVE Haribo Gummy Bears! They are my candy of choice...which is why I'm headed to 5 & Below to buy some at lunchtime!

Lasting Memories Challenge #67...Sentiment

Since today is Sunday, I chose to create a layout about my favorite football team REDSKINS  sport FOOTBALL.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Today was the first time that I did not cook Thanksgiving at home. Instead I arranged for my husband to have Thanksgiving with his brother & 2 sisters whom he has not had Thanksgiving together with in over 20+ years (since their mother passed away). So, today; we are TRULY Thankful for FAMILY!!!
Note: We are cooking Thanksgiving on Friday while everyone is out braving the Black Friday Sales!

Lasting Memories Layout Challenge #64

My hidden journaling is right under the  school picture filmstrip. It reads "Yearly school pictures are overpriced & usually never turn out good; so I am always taking pictures of the kids at home each year. This picture of Kyle turned out way better than the school taken photo". November 2011

LMCB#63 Earthtones & Sepia

I pulled out my untouched hoarded  stash of Moxxie Shades of Autumn pattern paper & cardstock stickers along with XY&Z layered chipboard stickers & bazzill cardstock. My layout is entitled "Family Life". Pictured is Kyle & Kassie at Six Flags Fright Night.

Used Photo Shop Elements to convert the picture to sepia & a faded sepia picture.
