The Scrappiest...is ME

Yes, I think that name is fit for ME since I've been on a roll lately...but I finally took a picture of a layout I did based on Sketch#99 over at The Scrappiest blog. Craft Room Remodeling...

Since I moved & now have a craft room; I decided I did not like my initial setup. After a 3 hour walk thru Ikea last weekend...here is what I've done thus far. Thanks to hubbie for carrying up my heavy Expedit & new craft table boxes :)

So many screws....

It was 1am & I did not finish.

My husband finished putting the Expedit together.

My new craft table (actually kitchen table) from Ikea. It's 70X35...exactly what I needed. I hope to have my room completed by the end of January....will post updates along the way.

Christmas in January

This weekend, we had Christmas in January at Aunt Cathy's home in Virginia. Since our schedules were very hectic in December, we decided to exchange gifts/celebrate in January. It was nice to spend time with  Aunt Cathy & the rest of the crew. Fun times were had by all. Here are a few pics of the KIDWELLS!!!

Happy New Year!!!! 2011

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Now that 2010 has come to a end; I have jumped into 2011 with both feet! I am so opened to all the possibilities that this new year has to offer. I'm not much on resolutions...but each year I pick a word that I try to live by.

My word for 2009 was BALANCE my life & all activities in it. 2010 was STRENGTH to handle all of life's challenges & my word for 2011 is REBIRTH...of my soul..a renewed existence, activity & growth of ME. The past 2 years have changed me to my core..so this year has started my Rebirth....& I'm excited about the possibilities that are in my future.
